Triangle Relax’s protection for car financing is a unique program that allows you to return your vehicle without impact to your credit. You can walk away from negative equity of $7,500, if life-changing events occur:
- Involuntary unemployment
- Physical disability
- Loss of driver’s license due to health impairment
- International work transfer
- Personal bankruptcy if you are self-employed
- Accidental death

The certificate of courtesy of Triangle Relax Protection applies to new and used models purchased (does not include “leasing”) through the financial institution chosen by the client and whose term financed and amount of financing does not exceed 84 months and / or $ 75,000. The client must have a driver’s license and must be 18 years of age or older. The Maximum Benefit payable to the Financial Institution under the Triangle Relax program is $7,500. At least one of the following conditions (“Qualifying Events”) must materialize before you are eligible for any benefit under the Triangle Relax program: Involuntary Unemployment – You must be accredited by PR’s Department of Labor and Human Resources by approving the payment of benefits under the unemployment program. Physical Disability and Loss of Driver’s License Due to Medical Deficiency – Must be accredited by Medical Certification. Self-Employed in Personal Bankruptcy – Requires official evidence of Bankruptcy. Accidental Death – Death Certificate required. Other restrictions and exclusions apply.
